About Us

Parents are always looking for games that encourage their child’s development but are so much fun, children don’t even realize they’re learning! Today, games are mostly screen-based, which is troublesome for speech and language development.

As a speech-language pathologist (SLP) with over 15 years of clinical experience and numerous therapy sessions with children of all ages, Liz, one of our founders, developed this game for use with her clients.

Together with co-founder Shanti, Liz's long time friend and field expert for production and supply chain, Minds That Play was born. Their goal is to develop games that support children's speech and language development and social interaction. Half Match: Monster Edition, their first labor of love, accomplishes exactly this. Liz and Shanti hope that you love playing it as much as they loved creating it!
